What probabilities mean
- A 70% probability means the outcome fails about three times in ten. Streaks of wrong outcomes are normal.
- A difference between a model and the market is not a sure thing. Most of the time, the market is right.
- No model, including ours, can make gambling a reliable source of income.
Warning signs
- Betting more than you planned, or more than you can afford to lose.
- Trying to win back losses.
- Borrowing money or hiding gambling from people close to you.
- Feeling restless or irritable when you try to stop.
Gambling can lead to addiction. If you recognise these signs, stop and talk to someone.
